Thank you for visiting my webpage. I study violent and non-violent movements globally with a focus on Africa and South Asia. Currently, I am the Marxe Endowed Chair of International Affairs at the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs (Baruch College) as well as an affiliated faculty member in the Department of Political Science at the Graduate Center, CUNY.  Here, you'll find information about my writing and media appearances as well as information about some of the projects I'm involved with.
